written for prf songwriting challenge, week 73, "write a dance song." backstory on this one is that i was away from my main recording rig, living in a converted garage in l.a., and had just dropped my wife off at lax so she could return to chicago for a coupla months before moving west. not real conducive to a happy poppy dance song. still, i dig the pianos at 1'10"...
